The following guide provides tips for the creation of your academic poster for SALTISE. Teams that have completely built their projects and have data to share are invited to create a poster for the poster session on June 3. All interns are invited to participate in the interactive session that is part of the regular track of the SALTISE conference.

# General Poster Design Tips
# What Makes a Good Poster:
Clarity
- Use clear fonts, appropriate sizes, and a logical layout.
- Ensure it’s visually appealing and easy to read from a distance.
Content and Layout
- Include a concise title, introduction, objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and references.
- Use graphs, charts, and images to illustrate key points.
- Alternate written sections and visuals.
Readability
- Use bullet points and short sentences.
- Highlight key findings or takeaways for quick understanding.
References and Affiliations
- Include relevant references.
- Add affiliations and stakeholder logos.
Spell Check
- Carefully proofread for spelling and grammar errors.
